Best Wedding Venues in Dallas

If you're here, you probably just got engaged (CONGRATS!) and are maybe starting to feel overwhelmed with all the choices of beautiful locations to get married at in Dallas. Theres so many factors that will go into your decision - aesthetics and style, inside and/or outside options, and of course - location. Below is a list of some of our favorite venues in Dallas for weddings.

The Dallas Arboretum

Weddings at the Dallas Arboretum are elegant, organic and filled with warm natural lighting. Couples can chose to reserve the Arboretum for their ceremony only or reserve one of their three stunning buildings for a reception. We love the views of White Rock Lake from the Camp House while the DeGoyler Estate has a secret-garden-esque romance to it.

Union Station

Weddings at the historic Union Station in Downtown Dallas are classically elegant affairs. Maybe its the incredible architecture, reminiscent of NYC's Grand Central Station, maybe its the deliscious catering from Wolfgang Puck's restaurant.

Nasher Sculpture Center

We love the clean, minimalist look of the Nasher Sculpture Center. Its the perfect blank canvas to style your wedding however you're imagining. And those willow trees? Swoon-worthy! Perfectly located in the Dallas Arts District, this wedding venue is close to Klyde Warren Park and lots of new and notable restaurants making logistics for guests a breeze.

The Room on Main

The Room on Main is a classic ballroom in the heart of Downtown Dallas. Soaring ceilings with floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of light, though we LOVE the way this venue glows with pretty uplighting at night.

White Sparrow Barn

The most elegant barn you'll ever see, the White Sparrow Barn outside of Dallas is filled with soft white light. We think if Chip and Joanna Gains were to get married all over again, they'd probably choose the White Sparrow Barn.

Marie Gabrielle Gardens

Who knew this beautiful European garden existed right in the middle of Uptown?! We love this hidden jewel because of its close proximity to luxury hotels like the Ritz Carlton and great restaurants for rehearsal dinners like the newly remodeled Trulucks.

Destination Wedding

OK, so its not a 'Dallas' venue, but having a destination wedding is a popular choice for many Dallas couples. Destination weddings remove friends and families from the daily grind and puts emphasis on enjoying each others company. With so many friends and family already needing to travel to attend a wedding, why not give them a vacation instead? We've been honored to photograph weddings as far away as Iceland, to the beautiful beaches of Mexico, to wine country in California, and could go on for days about the benefits of having a destination wedding.
